   1. Docs got republished! For the first time in a while! It was a little sticky; we need to fix some bugs in the "deployment" process.
   2. Upcoming sprint will be an excuse for auditing documentation (like for 7x releases) - be prepared for an announcement.
   3. Lots of changes upcoming, including structural.

   1. advanced OSGI stuff, deployed in Ansible. Try that PR, blow out your roles/external, and vagrant up. Now if you want to make a new derivative
      • make a microservice
      • configure it in Drupal to pump out the derivative message
      • add a couple variables to your ansible inventory (thanks to this playbook)
   2. Had to make some config changes in islandora_demo (now that we're using Original File not Preservation Master)
   3. There's an issue in F5, there's a weird error half of the time where it repeatedly fails before finally generating the derivative. Be warned. I
   4. It currently basically copies - makes an MP4 without scaling/etc. Are there more sensible defaults for this? (when uploading a Drupal Video, it has to be an MP4. though you could upload other types but they would have to be "File"s not "Video"s.

      1. This is discussing technical metadata for layout and text objects, like hOCR.
      2. We have enough infrastructure to create OCR derivatives (we just haven't set up any yet)
      3. We want to ask OP for more details about what this "toolset" should include - e.g. editing? (probably out of scope), ability to select the text in the image viewer? added value OCR (e.g. full TEI with links, URI's, and the ability to display cool stuff based on those URI's...)? export epub or html based on this kind of input? Ascii art?
