AOP alignment

LBNL: By 6/30/24, released Modelica Buildings Library that gets autosizing data from EnergyPlus.
NREL: By 6/28/24, published release that includes auto-sizing.
LBNL: By 9/30/24, demonstrated OpenStudio workflow from Spawn.

OpenStudio integration

Coordination call scheduled.

Modelon

No discussion, had separate call on Monday.

Compiler integration

No discussion.

FMI-QSS

Stuart working on setting up benchmarking.

Modelica Buildings Library

Backlog on fixing various issue.

PNNL has milestones for end of FY for heat pump water heater. Karthik works on slides to discuss HP curve determination.

ORNL has dehumidifier as deliverable end of this month. Sen sent slides.

EnergyPlus-Modelica coupling

Update to EnergyPlus 24.1.0, after 10.0.0 release and fixes of some spawn issues below.

Kyle to work on the Spawn issues. Worked on tests and needs to wrap up distribution.

Negative start time, start day of the week, and initialization for non-zero start time are handled as one fix as they are somewhat related.

What if startTime is changed programmatically? EnergyPlus start time corresponds to Jan 1, e.g., Modelica time 0. For users, RunPeriod user entries of original idf file are ignored.

Sizing

Need peak zone loads, and for systems, the coinciding loads. This would require sending to EnergyPlus a string that shows to what system the zone belongs to. Needs design work. Sizing data must be parameters, following the same patter as is used for the zone volume.
