Refactoring room air balance

Kyle reviewed old design document and thinks he can deliver the API specified in that document. He worked on both options, E+ being the master (assuming there is only one FMU for all of the HVAC), and E+ exposing the time derivative of the air. How to address state events and higher order QSS methods (or LIQSS) for the first option is still to be determined.

Michael said that target would be to soon have running code that exposes the time derivative so that we can start benchmarking which will be needed to better understand the bottle necks on the Modelica and/or QSS side, which in turn will be needed for optimization with Modelon.

Thierry and Michael said that we likely have many FMUs for the HVAC and control so that we can cash them if model edits are only done locally.

Heat conduction implementation

Edwin not on the call.

OS to Modelica translation

On hold.

Buildings API

Work on ANTLR is ongoing.

Scalable benchmark model

On the master branch. Modelon reports linear growth in computing time as a function of the number of zones for envelop model.

FMI-QSS

Coordinated extension to FMI with Modelon.

State event detection implementation is ongoing with Stuart.

General

Buildings library release scheduled for September.
