<h3>Environmental</h3>
<p>
Addresses the ability of authors or users of a DID method to evaluate
possible environmental impacts of a specific DID method.
</p>

<p>
As with all criteria explored in this Rubric, comparative evaluation
of environmental concerns may surface some interesting tradeoffs.
For example, DID methods that score very high or very low (where
low is desirable, and high is not) in environmental impact may have
oppositely desirable scores in some other category. That is, when
environmental impact is lowered, the other category rises, and when
environmental impact is raised, the other category sinks. Only you
can determine the appropriate balance of these tradeoffs for your
deployment or development.
