Seems like awake function itself is not working.

Same issue, right after update to 0.84.0 and restart I could not click awake icon at all. So inside PowerToys UI I restared awake (disable and enable) and now it doesn't show in system tray at all. Also awake stopped functioning even from inside PowerToys interface, after setting policy to keep awake indefinitely PC goes to sleep normally

Same here on both my machines, right after update to 0.84.0.
A workaround is to kill the entire PowerToys process tree from Task Manager and once reopened everything seems to work fine. But at the moment I can't restart any of my machines so I don't konw if this behavior repeats after every reboot or if it was only a case. Anyway, up to now on one of the two machines (34-35 hours after I reopened PowerToys) everything seems to work perfectly even after several Sleeps and an hibernation of 4-5 hours.
