How to install

See the Getting Started Page and follow the instructions in Running Foundry, Installing Star Wars FFG and finally Creating a World

Customizing your World for Genesys

After launching your world, go to Game Setting-->Configure Game Settings-->System Setting
Change the Choose Dice Theme to genesys
To set the Skill list follow the steps here

Importing Data

Using Genesys allows you to create your own system and you may not have the list of Skills, Talents and adversaries.

For your setting, you may want to create your own list of skills, follow this Wiki entry.

Importing Genesys Adversaries data

You can import all of the NPCs listed on Genesys Adversaries as well. To do so:

  1. Navigate to the Github page (NOTE: the current version is in a GenesysVersion/Develop Branch and not in the Master Branch)
  2. Click the green Code button and select Download ZIP
  3. From within your world, select Game Settings
  4. Click Configure Settings
  5. Select System Settings
  6. Select SW Adversaries Importer
  7. Select the ZIP you downloaded in step 2
  8. Click "Start Import"

NOTE

Because this adversaries data is not set up to use OggDude data, the adversaries imported will not have any items from those compendiums, so if there is a typo in the adversaries data, it will show up.

What next?

Now that you've got gear, skills, NPCs, etc, you might be wondering what you should do next. Recommended next steps:

  1. Create the critical tables
  2. Create custom items
  3. Begin collecting assets and artwork

It may be helpful to create custom items with +1 soak, +2 soak, etc to quickly correct NPCs which didn't import correctly (you can then drag these items onto the appropriate NPCs so they have the correct soak without having to search for an item which gives that amount of soak.)
