Producing Estrogen
This guide assumes that you already understand the fundamentals of Create. If you're new to Create, give this video a watch!
Due to the complexity of Create: Estrogen and Create itself, we recommend the use of a recipe viewer such as EMI. Recipes will be presented as required, however there's much more to offer to the mod than what's outlined in this guide.
All good estrogen farms start with one vital ingredient: horse urine. This is obtained by right-clicking a horse with an empty bottle. There isn't any cooldown, but please be ethical...
Alternatively, a deployer can also be used to automatically extract ungodly amounts of urine from horses.
Important
When using this method, make sure to set a filter on the deployer so the right items are extracted!
Once you've extracted a decent amount of horse urine, use an item drain to separate the urine from its bottle. This should then be moved manually using a bucket or piped using a mechanical pump into a fluid tank.
From here, you'll need to set up a basin with a mechanical mixer. Dump or pump the horse urine into the basin, along with a list filter. When mixed, this will produce a filthy used list filter and filtrated horse urine. To clean the used list filter, place it on a depot under a spout filled with water.
Now, move the filtrated horse urine into another fluid tank using a bucket or mechanical pump. It's recommended to use the latter since it's a vital step towards automatic estrogen production.
Important
If you're using a mechanical pump, make sure to use a smart fluid pipe so that the unfiltrated horse urine doesn't contaminate your fresh, clean, filtrated horse urine.
Everything up to this point could be done without much effort. However, this is where things get serious. You'll need at least 2048 stress units available to continue. This could be done with a windmill, plenty of water wheels, a steam engine, etc. As such, we've moved our demonstration to a more fitting location.
The centrifuge requires a speed of 256 rotations per minute! This is the maximum speed of vanilla Create. Due to this requirement, it will always use the 2048 stress units while active. Place it on top of a fluid tank containing filtrated horse urine, then place another empty fluid tank on top of the centrifuge. If done right, you'll see the filtrated horse urine in the lower half, and a blue fluid in the upper half of the centrifuge. When connected and spinning at the right speed, the upper fluid tank will now slowly start to fill with liquid estrogen!
As seen above, centrifuges can be chained together to increase the production speed of your estrogen. It serves as a cogwheel, meaning it must also be connected to a cogwheel to rotate.
Warning
Mod packs or servers can modify the required rotations per minute! This may affect the stress units used by the centrifuge. Check with the developers if you suspect that this value has been changed.
Tip
Not working? Use a speedometer to ensure the centrifuge is spinning exactly at the required speed.
