You have just been accepted to one of Circles' staff teams.

Welcome to the staff team! You're now part of an incredible adventure of managing a community. It's a lot of fun but also a little bit of work ;)

Getting started

  1. Click here to join our discord server. Follow the instructions.
  2. The admins will add you to the private staff channels for the website of your choice and welcome you.
  3. Once you get your access, introduce yourself in #introductions. The team(s) will be very happy to have you on board ^_^
  4. Meet the team you're joining: About page.
  5. Familiarize yourself with your roles: Roles ⚠️ Read the full guide(s) for your role(s)! ⚠️
  6. Ask for permissions to use our tools:
Name Do you need it? How to get access?
Private Discord channels Yes. Follow instructions after joining the Discord server.
Staff roles on the website Yes. Mention the [team manager] on discord with your profile URL and your list of roles
GitHub Yes. Create an account on GitHub: https://github.com/join and mention the [team manager] on discord with your GitHub username
Tweetdeck If your roles include [Community manager], [Community entertainer] or [Support] (for Twitter only) Mention the [team manager] on discord with your Twitter @, then the first time you get access to it, follow this guide to configure your columns: Community manager.
Disqus administration If your role includes [Decisive moderator] Mention the [team manager] on discord with your disqus username
Receive private messages and emails If your roles include [Support] Mention the [system administrator] on discord with the following details:
  • Reddit private messages (one per team): your Reddit username
  • Facebook private messages (one per team, must be 18+ for open messages): your Facebook username
  • Emails: your email address
Google+ group where we share assets and resources for staff (Link to the group) If you're staff for [Bandori Party] Mention the [team manager] with your Google email address.

Being part of our private Discord server

All the staff members are in the conversation. Keep it active and lively :)

  • Notify the rest of the team of things you do (see guide)
  • Ask questions
  • Share ideas, suggestions
  • Get assigned to things / ask to be assigned to things
  • Vote for things when the staff team can't decide on something
