pulled in @prototypicalpro 's changes to enable tunnel mode. On my fire tv stick 4k max (2023) this build just shows a black screen but I hear crackled audio of the stream.

Tunnel mode apparently worked with this current code on a mediatek based sony X85K smart tv:
