In this project, sentiment analysis is performed on Twitter data for five domestic US airlines. They are Jetblue, Southwest, United, Delta and American. The sentiments were classified as either positive or negative. The tweets were collected for two time periods – before thanksgiving and after thanksgiving. The performance of the airlines in these two periods are compared using Wilcoxon's signed rank test.
