Initially, `lsp-factory.js` was created to streamline the deployment of smart contracts. However, with the introduction of the [LSP23 Linked Contracts Factory](https://docs.lukso.tech/standards/generic-standards/lsp23-linked-contracts-factory), it became obsolete. Currently, **`lsp-factory.js` is no longer maintained**. We recommend using the following tools instead:

- For deploying Universal Profiles, utilize [LSP23](https://docs.lukso.tech/learn/expert-guides/deploy-up-with-lsp23) using web3js or ethers.js code;
- For uploading metadata to IPFS, refer to [tools-data-providers](https://github.com/lukso-network/tools-data-providers);
- For easier interaction with LSPs, explore the [lsp-utils library](https://docs.lukso.tech/tools/lsp-utils/getting-started).
