Der gluon stand ist, dass für qca988x/qca9880 ath10k-ct mit meshing nicht stabil läuft.

Warum smallbuffers? Oder läuft irgendwas mit smallbuffers stabiler? Die genannten Geräte kommen doch mit 128MiB RAM.

Dass ath10k-ct weitere Varianten hat wie ct-full-htt hatte ich auch schonmal bemerkt und mich gefragt, wie die Unterschiede wären für Gluon.

Wir sollten hier nochmal im Gluon irc nach Erfahrungswerten fragen

Aus dem Commit:

AC Mesh Pro is much more stable with CT firmware and can take a lot more
clients. This breaks 11s meshing on 5 GHz, but since these are outdoor
devices, this should not affect anyone.

Ich kann mich an eine diskussion im gluon irc erinnern, wonach diese Änderung abhilfe geschafft hat.
Ansonsten kann @nrbffs sicher mit seinen Erfahrungen berichten.

Da die Geräte in der Regel eh mit outdoor betrieb und ohne mesh betrieben werden, ist es auch nicht so wichtig, dass das 5ghz mesh solide funktioniert.

As we have AC mesh devices which are utilizing 5ghz wifi mesh (KGV Jülich), we can not use this.
