Hi @kirjaamo is this mostly from upstream documentation or did you also test the install? I ask because I need to know if I need to test the install.

Do we have a "first start guide" for Percona XtraDB Cluster (PXC)? Because in Percona XtraDB Cluster (PXC) 8, it is run with SSL enabled already with some other options turned on for hardening.

Upstream. I cannot test the installation. I don't think we have a first start guide.

hi @kirjaamo can you also ensure the docs cover using the repositories? https://docs.percona.com/percona-software-repositories/installing.html

Would the repositories belong to this document: https://galeracluster.com/documentation/html_docs_copyright-statement-2023/documentation/install-xtradb-src.html

Currently we instruct to install XtraDB Cluster with apt or yum. Is percona-release something different?

percona-release helps with apt or yum installations. it is sort of a repository configuration tool that automatically handles this @kirjaamo
