This is a instance version based on your script. It makes ami images from an instance.
(I only used the tags to select instances with in my tests.)

Purging images needs the image de-registered. So I get the snapshots of the image, de-register the image and then delete the snapshots.

Thank you ZeerDonker this was a feature I noticed that seemed missing from Colin's scripts. Will see about incorporating into scripts that Colin wrote for use locally.

@mojibake-umd There is a bug in the script though, if there are spaces in the instance name, the ami image name can get just the first space delimeted word in the ami name.
