Calagator FAQ

What is Calagator?

Calagator is an open source calendar aggregation platform. It's written in Ruby on Rails. The project has been active since 2008.

Calagator.org is a site where the Portland tech community uses this software to share events we are organizing or would like to attend.

How do I use it?

As a community member

Calagator allows anyone to read, add, and edit events and venues without creating an account. Each Calagator instance has a different community it serves, and events added should fit that community's interests. For example, the Portland Tech Calagator at http://calagator.org is interested in collecting events for and by Portland's technical (software and hardware) communities, as well as other geeky and nerdy fun activities.
