There are a set of different games developed in Python.
blackjack.py is a card comparing game between player and a dealer, also known as Twenty-One. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer which can be done in number of ways -
- Get 21 points on the player's first two cards (called a blackjack), without a dealer blackjack;
- Reach a final score higher than the dealer without exceeding 21; or
- Let the dealer draw additional cards until his or her hand exceeds 21.
guess_the_number.py is a simple snippet to guess a number between 0-1000 in 7 attempts
memory.py is a concentration based game where a player chooses pair of cards and turns their face up. If they are of same rank and color, the player wins. If they are of different rank and color the faces of card is turned down, player attempts again.
pong_game.py is a classical pong game played between two players. First player uses keys "w|s" for left paddle, while the second player uses "UP|DOWN" arrow keys for right paddle.
ricerocks.py is a spaceship game. A spaceship fires missile to asteriods and prevent itself from collision with asteroids. Arrow keys are used to move the spaceship and space bar is used to fire a missile.
Note: The games runs from a browser. Use Google Chrome for better performance. Eg: If you want to run pong_game.py, then it can be executed as mentioned below - Checkout the code, goto http://www.codeskulptor.org, you will find a Open local button, click on it and upload pong_game.py to the console. Click the play button on the left side of the console.
