YATES (Yet Another Transport Equilibrium Solver) is a 1.5D transport equilibrium solver for tokamak plasmas. The Grad-Shafranov equation is solved together with the transport equations. Currently the solver is restricted to fixed boundaries.

The YATES repository contains the source code for the YATES transport equilibrium solver for tokamak plasmas.

Installation

YATES requires a compatible installation of FEniCS, see the releases. The development version follows the development cycle of FEniCS.

To install simply download the module files and add the directory to PYTHONPATH
