wikitools is a framework for MediaWiki bots written in Python. It is available as a python package containing general tools for working with wikis, pages, and users on the wiki and retrieving data from the MediaWiki API. It is designed for use on sites running MediaWiki 1.21 and higher.

Documentation is hosted on this wiki. Bug reports and feature requests can be made on the Github issue tracker. Pull requests and additional documentation/examples are also welcome.
