Installation of the extension (Developer mode)

  1. Clone the repository or download the ZIP file.
  2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
  3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
  4. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the extension folder.

Usage

  1. Click on the AE Encrypt extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
  2. Enter the text you want to encrypt or decrypt in the input textarea.
  3. Choose the desired hashing algorithm or encoding option from the dropdown menu or click the corresponding button (e.g., "encode" or "decode") to process the text.
  4. The result will be displayed in the output textarea, and you can copy it to the clipboard.

Requirements

Ensure you have the following software installed on your machine before running the project:

  • Node.js (version 14.17.6 or later)
  • npm (version 6.14.15 or later)

Installation

Clone the repository and install the dependencies using npm:

npm install
