Terraform Provider for Syntropy Stack

The Terraform Syntropy provider is a plugin for Terraform that allows for the full lifecycle management of Syntropy network resources.

_Syntropy terraform provider is built on the Terraform Plugin Framework.

Requirements

• Terraform >= 1.0
• Go >= 1.17

Test Terraform provider

First, build and install the provider.

$ make install

Then, navigate to the examples directory.

$ cd examples

Run the following command to initialize the workspace and apply the sample configuration.

$ terraform init && terraform apply

Developing the Provider

If you wish to work on the provider, you'll first need Go installed on your machine (see Requirements above).

To compile the provider, run go install. This will build the provider and put the provider binary in the $GOPATH/bin directory.

To generate or update documentation, run go generate.

In order to run the full suite of Acceptance tests, run make testacc.

Note: Acceptance tests create real resources, and often cost money to run.
