VSCodeRibbon (VSCR) is a fork of Microsoft's VSCode open source version in order to overhaul the workspace from a split-view / fixed-space container into a 1-dimensional ribbon of editors.

VSCR is part of the CodeRibbon family of editors, which are newer, open source, publicly available implementations of a Patchworks-style editor.

The first and most developed CodeRibbon editor is available as an Atom Package: https://github.com/utk-se/CodeRibbon

VSCR is currently under heavy development and is not yet ready for everyday stable usage.

We are open to suggestions and PRs! Feel free to open issues, and for non-actionable questions or other ideas, open a discussion!
