v0.4.1 Release Milestone

For the v0.4.1 release, we are setting specific action items to continue enhancing the software's capabilities and integration. Here are the planned improvements:

1. BIDS Organizer Refactoring:

   • Aim: To refactor the BIDS organizer for seamless integration with the new NIfTI app module.
   • Benefit: This will enable custom plugins to work seamlessly with the BIDS organization workflow.

2. Data Manager App Module:

   • Formerly known as 'backup', this module will now include functionality to prune and de-identify the dataset for sharing.
   • Focus: Enhance data privacy and sharing capabilities, facilitating easier data management and compliance with data protection standards.

3. Enhanced Viewer Module:

   • Formerly the GUI module, the main GUI will continue using the tkinter module as it is compatible with ParaVision consoles without the need for extensive software installation.
   • Updates: This module will include additional useful functions and extensibility in converting. It will integrate the tonifti app as the core converter and also correctly plot the image orientation.

These enhancements aim to refine user interaction, data management, and overall functionality, aligning with the ongoing needs of our users and the evolving technological landscape.
