For us, Russian-speaking people, unfortunately, there are two big difficulties in using these programs. Firstly, these applications are expensive and, one might say, unaffordable for our compatriots with an average salary of $ 500 a month. Secondly, there are no Russian-language blocks of exercises, only English-speaking ones. Russian providers who provide access to the Fastword program recommend training in English, because in this way both classroom abilities and learning a second language will develop. In fact, of course, we all understand that if a child, a person, has difficulties with his native language, then the primary task is precisely the development of his understanding. Of course, in the absence of alternatives, it is better to study in the English version than not to study at all.

The bad news is that the American owners of the program refuse requests for translation of their speech blocks into Russian, arguing that for them it is more research work, not business, and besides, in addition to the Russian―speaking population (167 million), there are more interesting and wealthy audiences - Chinese-speaking (1.5 billion) and Spanish-speaking (500 million) population.

So unfortunately, there are simply no Russian-speaking analogues today: neither paid nor free..
