Here are some patches and wishes already.

those have to be checked if still open...

I hope someone will take over the maintainership ... I have no time anymore
due to different other projects

Since this code doesn't work any more in php5.6, maybe this is an alternative:

Yeah why not.

As I probably already mentioned, I have lack of time, so I for sure won't
update phpsqliteadmin anymore. Plus, I moved to Java for all my development
almost 10 years ago, and I really try to avoid PHP since then (cf
https://eev.ee/blog/2012/04/09/php-a-fractal-of-bad-design/)

So, if someone wants to take over maintainership, that would be nice. On
the other hand, development has stagnated for many years, and there are
alternatives (as you said). I have no issue letting the project rest in
peace.
