For instance, if two\nendpoints are below a root port or downsteam switch port, the\ndownstream port may optionally redirect transactions between the\ndevices, bypassing upstream devices. The same can happen internally\non multifunction devices. The transaction may never be visible to the\nupstream devices.\n\nOne upstream device that we particularly care about is the IOMMU. If\na redirection occurs in the topology below the IOMMU, then the IOMMU\ncannot provide isolation between devices. This is why the PCIe spec\nencourages topologies to include ACS support. Without it, we have to\nassume peer-to-peer DMA within a hierarchy can bypass IOMMU isolation.\n\nUnfortunately, far too many topologies do not support ACS to make this\na steadfast requirement. Even the latest chipsets from Intel are only\nsporadically supporting ACS. We have trouble getting interconnect\nvendors to include the PCIe spec required PCIe capability, let alone\nsuggested features.\n\nTherefore, we need to add some flexibility. The pcie_acs_override=\nboot option lets users opt-in specific devices or sets of devices to\nassume ACS support. The \"downstream\" option assumes full ACS support\non root ports and downstream switch ports. The \"multifunction\"\noption assumes the subset of ACS features available on multifunction\nendpoints and upstream switch ports are supported. The \"id:nnnn:nnnn\"\noption enables ACS support on devices matching the provided vendor\nand device IDs, allowing more strategic ACS overrides. These options\nmay be combined in any order. A maximum of 16 id specific overrides\nare available. It's suggested to use the most limited set of options\nnecessary to avoid completely disabling ACS across the topology.\nNote to hardware vendors, we have facilities to permanently quirk\nspecific devices which enforce isolation but not provide an ACS\ncapability. Please contact me to have your devices added and save\nyour customers the hassle of this boot option.\n\nRebased-by: Alexandre Frade \nSigned-off-by: Mark Weiman \nSigned-off-by: Alexandre Frade ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"PCI: Enable overrides for missing ACS capabilities"}},{"before":"843918dc34fdfa4a53600a7465dbfb0482d53d83","after":"b45b275de4ee71b0db7239bb9164828569588f2e","ref":"refs/heads/6.6","pushedAt":"2023-11-25T07:11:14.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":1,"pusher":{"login":"xealea","name":"ʟᴇᴀ","path":"/xealea","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/73871195?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"[x86-64] config for vetea\n\nSigned-off-by: yuu ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"[x86-64] config for vetea"}},{"before":"2dcf8cb2679d9a9fd212f77e887d962cb9bf4184","after":"843918dc34fdfa4a53600a7465dbfb0482d53d83","ref":"refs/heads/6.6","pushedAt":"2023-11-25T06:55:41.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":1,"pusher":{"login":"xealea","name":"ʟᴇᴀ","path":"/xealea","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/73871195?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"[OpenRGB] import patch\n\nSigned-off-by: yuu ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"[OpenRGB] import patch"}},{"before":"43c186c6aeeb92791308d250870c06fa7eccbd4d","after":"2dcf8cb2679d9a9fd212f77e887d962cb9bf4184","ref":"refs/heads/6.6","pushedAt":"2023-11-25T06:54:21.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":1,"pusher":{"login":"xealea","name":"ʟᴇᴀ","path":"/xealea","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/73871195?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"Add ksym-provides tool.\n\nReferences: bsc#1077692\nPatch-mainline: no, not needed\n\nSigned-off-by: Michal Suchanek ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"Add ksym-provides tool."}},{"before":"968137631b8bc1a54e9de2c6af64153e1bd10864","after":"43c186c6aeeb92791308d250870c06fa7eccbd4d","ref":"refs/heads/6.6","pushedAt":"2023-11-25T06:52:19.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":6,"pusher":{"login":"xealea","name":"ʟᴇᴀ","path":"/xealea","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/73871195?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"drm/amd/pm: Fix clock reporting for SMUv13.0.6\n\nOn SMU v13.0.6, effective clocks are reported by FW which won't exactly\nmatch with DPM level.
