Oh yeah. I forgot. This simply doesn't work and I have no idea why.

No matter what you put into redirect_from for terms.md, it does not work. So, I added the redirect to about.md as an alternative.

I tried changing everything: the frontmatter, the page contents, the file name. Even making a perfect copy of about.md and then editing the minimum things. Nothing worked. Totally stumped on this one...

Super weird. I really did try a lot of things. It makes no sense to me. I keep thinking it must be something trivial, but I'm out of ideas for now...

Will leave open for someone smarter than me :)
