Thank you for the suggestion. Honestly, I'm not sure because the symlinks can't pull the releases, and even if it does, the releases are in a compressed format (.zip). While the embedded pre-release in the main repo is open to be removed in the coming version, please see this discussion for more details.
On the other hand, the stable release cycles are once every couple of months. So manually copying the compiled library is needed once in a while.
Every wrapper is different. Some use the pre-built binaries, and some not. In general, we should avoid using compiled binaries in all repos and wrappers.
We will try to use git sub-module in all wrappers in the future.
If this is possible, perhaps someone who know Git voodo can sym link the
.lib
s in so that they don't have to be manually downloaded and updated?Just an idea, I don't know, maybe a bad one but an idea.
