Is this plugin abandoned?

Despite the README.md saying that "Contribution Welcome!" there are some open issues that were never answered or triaged and some automated dependency upgrade pull requests that would be awesome.

Hey @shigma since 2019 there has been no development activity in this repo. Would you consider handing over maintenance of this repo so someone else? I know forking is a valid option but through being located inside the vuepress organization this repo has the highest visibility.

I feel really sorry for not maintaining this project for such a long time. If anyone would like to maintain this project please just let me know.
