Getting started documentation doesn't help to use plugin, not theme

Hi, please help me with my questions...

• Is that correct that I just cannot apply @vuepress/plugin-blog (version 1.+) plugin to my empty vuepress project and expect that anything else would work except rendering /...-my-post.html pages in that project?
• I really messed up with that getting started guide...and seems like ulivz.com domain is dead, so I have used that one
• it seems like almost no success examples of @vuepress/plugin-blog usage, a lot of @vuepress/theme-blog usages and other theams based on that, but I was not able to successfully start with official guide. Can some one point me to plain vuepress project with only @vuepress/plugin-blog plugin applied but not @vuepress/theme-blog?
