Instructions

AWS Amplify is a full stack development platform for web and mobile apps. I am not sure if we can host this in Amplify. If Fifityone can already host on Amplify, please let me know if there is some documentation.

Proposal Summary

Allow hosting Fiftyone App in AWS Amplify.

What areas of FiftyOne does this feature affect?

  • App: FiftyOne application
  • Core: Core fiftyone Python library
  • Server: FiftyOne server

Details

Currently if you want to host any apps on Amplify, you can just start a branch in your repo with hosting information. Currently it has a few supported framework: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amplify/latest/userguide/welcome.html and I am not sure if Fiftyone is eligable for that.

If not, I want to know what is the best practice to start hosting Fiftyone in an internal environment. Is it:

  1. Start an instance or a server.
  2. Start Fiftyone Service. (any best practice here? such as launch automaticly and start from a repo branch)
  3. Then export instance or server IP to internal only?

Thank you
