Not working for MacBook Air M1 chip #17
Comments
Same problem :( Unfortunately, I can't find an alternative. |
Update: I've removed the old |
Hey guys, I've updated the DMG with latest builder library available, hope this solves the issue. Unfortunately don't have an M1 Mac to test though. |
I have tried to install another way and it worked |
It is still not working for me (( any recommendations ? |
I have forgotten how I have done for me, but can try to do on your computer. |
@Gayane2022 could you please describe what exactly is not working, so I can reproduce it. |
@vahe-evoyan Vahe jan when I download the bundle and try to drag it to the folder as in the photo it does nothing ((( |
@Gayane2022 Thanks Gayane jan! I was able to reproduce it on my M1 machine. There is a workaround for this though. You can double click the Applications icon and it will open the Finder in a separate window. You can then drag and drop to the new window and it asks you for permissions like on the screenshot. Let me know if that works. Will try to fix the issue during the week and release a new version for M1 macs. |
@vahe-evoyan It worked Vahe jan, thanks a loooot :) |
VAHE JAN! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING JOB!!!!! |
Great work Guys. The solution worked for me too! |
Guys its still not working for me, I'm able to install it without problem and enable in keyboard layout settings, but when i try to switch it, it does not work. |
@levongavalian It's more like a scenario when you install it and need to log out and log back in sometimes. Did you try something like that? |
@vahe-evoyan I have the same problem as @levongavalian. I have installed the bundle without problem and it is enabled in keyboard layout settings, but when I try to switch it drops to the other language. I tried log out/ log in few times, still no result. My device is MacBook Air M1. |
I worked after i restarted computer, try that

Vahe jan help me. After double click opens-“There is no application set to open the document “ArmenianPhonetic.bundle”. |
@Narek5 jan it seems you double click the bundle file. Instead you should double click the "Keyboard Layouts" folder icon. It will open a Finder window where you can drag and drop the bundle. |
I can't download it for mac m2. Can you help me? |
@vahe-evoyan jan I have the same problem as @Gayane2022. Couldn't get the solution that you provided. Now trying to install manually, but when I download zip I can't find ArmenianPhonetic.keylayout |
hey guys, I am getting this when trying to install it, I have a new Macbook Air 1. Could you please comment if there is any workaround for this? thanks |
