When trying to move a window around by its search bar, the search bar is activated. This behavior deviates from what may be expected from a Gnome environment. With Gnome's apps, you are able to drag from anywhere in the headerbar area to move an app, whether it be an empty space or a button.

For me and most users this is not an error. From a UX design and usability point of view, moving behind the search bar is not necessary. And therefore, dragging the search bar will not be added (maybe they will add a parameter in the settings where this can be enabled.).
However, thank you for being interested in the project and helping to add new features. :-)
