Fantome

Fork of the legacy* default theme for Ghost. Fantome means Ghost in French :)

* Source is the new default theme for Ghost: it has more built-in customization options explained in this official blog post. However, Casper still lives on, in 2.8k forks (as of Sep 2024) including this one.

Specific features compared to Casper

  • Instagram icon and link in the Header, available as a custom setting
  • Github icon and link in the Header, available as a custom setting
  • Table of Contents powered by tocbot
  • Hidden Feature Image in Post page according to Access Tier of Member
  • Locales: minimal setup, with translation for japanese (can be expanded to any language by adding a /locales/<...>.json file)

How to use it

  • Go to the Releases page and download fantome.zip in the list of Assets of the latest release.
  • In your Ghost instance, go to Settings > Design & Branding > Change theme (bottom right corner) > Upload theme (upper right corder) and upload the zip file
