iOS: Open another app of mine via url scheme

I can't get it working. I have an app called app1 and another called app2

I want to open app2 from app1. I tried following this guide https://fokkezb.nl/2013/08/26/url-schemes-for-ios-and-android-1/

tiapp.xml of app1

    alert('please install app2');
    return;
}
Ti.Platform.openURL(url);

When I click my button, nothing happens.

I checked https://jira.appcelerator.org/browse/TIMOB-27354 a few times and now it works. Seems, that I haven't compiled the first app with my changes :-(
