🚀 First Steps in the Light Node Network

This guide is designed to help you navigate the initial steps of becoming an active member of our network on GitHub.

📌 Introduction

As a member of the LNN, you have a unique role in our collaborative effort to spread Bitcoin education. This guide will help you set up your Light Node's presence in the Light-Node-Directory repository.

Note: If you are new to GitHub, please begin with our GitHub Account Setup Guide before proceeding with these steps.

🔗 Step 1: Accessing the Light-Node-Network Repository

Start by navigating to the Light-Node-Directory repository. Spend some time exploring the repository to understand its structure and contents.

📂 Step 2: Locate Your Light Node Directory

Each Light Node has a dedicated directory within the repository, named after its city or region. Find your Light Node's directory and open it to view its contents, including the README template.

📝 Step 3: Customize Your README File

Your first task is to personalize the README file in your directory. Follow our README Customization Guide for detailed instructions on how to edit this file using the provided template.

🌐 Step 4: Engage with the Network

Participation is key to the success of our network. Engage with other members by visiting the Discussions forum. Introduce your Light Node, share insights, engage the community, and collaborate on ideas.
