So while playing Game Boy games on Delta, there is a sound delay while playing.

Example: Pokémon Pinball; a couple seconds after launching the ball, the launch sound plays and also when hitting certain parts of the table, sounds play a little later than usual.

The delay is usually about 1-2 seconds but it is very noticeable if you’re paying attention. After a few seconds, the sound reverts back to normal with no delay but sometimes the delay comes back.

My guess is it may be the emulator itself but I could be wrong
