I've tried to use this package, but it is showing different symbols on the repeated footnotes. Image:

The code used is as follow:

\DeclareFixedFootnote{\uni}{Universidade de Somewherevile}

\title{Comparando os algoritmos de algo}

\author{Sobrenome1, A.\uni\\ [email protected] \and
Sobrenome2, A.\uni\\ [email protected] \and
Sobrenome3, A.\uni\\ [email protected] \and
Sobrenome4, A. B.\uni\\ [email protected]}

\begin{document}
\maketitle
\enddocument}

Is there a simple way to fix that? An option to chose between all using asterisks or all using numbers would be great. But using mixed like this is not useful.

Thanks

PS. System: Slackware Linux with KDE and Kile editor, compiling with PDFLATEX

PPS. The bottom of the page looks like:
