What happens?

Opening the small user popout causes repeated profile requests to be made very quickly.

The network tab in DevTools shows that the initiator is coming from this plugin. As soon as I removed the plugin, this issue has not occurred again.

Where in the code?

The initiator says that this part of the code is responsible.
