Topic

Hi there 👋,

I'm opening this issue as the Getting Started guide still recommends installing Atom, which has unfortunately been sunset, so it should probably be removed. The wider question is whether anything should be added to the list in its place (VSCode seems the obvious choice), or if any of the other recommendations need updating (Sublime Text is now at version 4, for example).

Since this is a relatively small change (at least in lieu of opinions about what exactly should replace Atom), I have opened the initial pull request, but am very happy to edit it in response to thoughts on this issue!

Good suggestion @joenash! Let's stick with just VS Code.

We've actually rewritten this guide as part of a larger effort to revamp the p5.js documentation. The new version won't be live for a few months, so your edits will be helpful in the meantime.
