Since the app is now more on the community's shoulders for upkeeping, I think we need to add more functionalities that are just loose-ended, but could be activated through something the command line. This way, it'll get some users to be more motivated to partake in the implementation of such tasks.
An example of what I have in mind:
I want a shortcut (i.e. Windows live tile or iOS shorcut type thing) that allows for the "add task" to a specific class with just one button click. If we added that functionality WITHOUT adding the actual function to the program's GUI, someone is more likely to implement such a feature in their free time. This is a pretty simple thing if we just discard care for entry-user access, and it would open the door for people to add more automation just by removing a barrier. Especially since this adds the opportunity to create third-party software to modify the app. I love the layout of this app for task-tracking and I think it is best to be used as an information-hub, like a lightweight outlook calendar, but is more week-based driven.
This is also an important point: I have ADHD, so the week-based short-term goals is very helpful for my management. I'm sure people with ADHD are more likely to use this app since they also have shit working memory, so this would certainly increase use in an indirect way.
