Hi all, I'm having trouble getting this module to work on my pi 2.
After running into issues getting the hwclock command to work, I followed jups solution about halfway down in this thread:
https://www.element14.com/community/thread/40829/l/piface-shim-rtc-not-recognised-on-a-rpi-b?displayFullThread=true

Trouble is that every time I set the hwclock, verify that it's the same time as the system clock, and reboot it defaults back to some time in 2016!

The driver looks like it's running ok as I'm getting UU from i2cdetect. Has anyone got any ideas how to get this working?

I've also checked the battery and it's reading 3.15V
