Current Behavior

I tested the language settings with different machines, but all in Windows 11:
Two machines with en-US Win11, one machine with de-de Win11.
I also tested installations for all users and installations "Only for me".
And I tested on a clean and fresh Win11 installation, as well as in the Win 11 Sandbox.

In none of these test-cases changing the language setting had any effect:

Tested:

  • German - Deutsch
  • Spanish - espaniol
  • ...

GUI language and also Developer Tools language was English, all the time. Reloading had no effect.
Session, however, did show the language I set in Developer Tools-Settings, after restart.
So, Session remembers the language setting, even though it has no effect.

Expected Behavior

Language should change

Steps To Reproduce

See above

Desktop Version

v.1.13.1

We're working on a native way to change the language Session uses in app, this will be somewhere in the settings menu, should resolve the underlying issue here, which is the desire to have Session be in a different language from the operating system language.
