We release the code we wrote to collect data from different platforms.

Folder structure

/analyze: code to anlayze the data
/collect: code to collect the data
/congress_account_data: social media handles of the congressional candidates
/package: a package to assist the data anlaysis
Makefile: commands to prepare the virtual environments and perform data analysis
config.ini : configuration file for the data collection system
keywords.txt: keywords used to collected posts related to the midterm elections
