Problem with cloud sync label to tag with non existing values

We have configured multiple onprem and cloud providers. We have a configuration with different tag categories and values.
We have also configured sync for the cloud providers mapping labels to tags.

With previous versions of ManageIQ, if somebody with access to the cloud change a label to a value that we don't have, won't affect ManageIQ. That is the desired behavior that we need. But with Najdorf version what we are experiencing is that if somebody configure a label in a cloud provider with a value that doesn't exist in ManageIQ, instead of the instance not having that tag category assigned with a weird value, the result is that the instance is having the new value and the new value also is created as a category value.

So, at the end, if we establish the label to tag sync we lost control over the tag category values that we have in ManageIQ.

Is there any way for configure this to not happen please?
