EXTRAS-145 - Python ignores t.derive command, new name and uses DerivedRL #18

  1. Open Opticks
  2. Load a data set
  3. In Python scripting window type:
    t = opticks.RasterLayer()
  4. In Python scripting window type:
    t.derive("DerivedRL")
    and you are prompted for a name via a Rename Raster Layer dialog
  5. Input a new name then OK and Python displays:
    <opticks.RasterLayer object at 0x000000000FBAD948> (expected)
    but ignores your name and uses "DerivedRL" instead. DerivedRL displays in Session Explorer.
