GeSHi is a popular syntax highlighter for native highlighting in a PHP server. It is essentially a statically configured highlighter that's more like Highlight.js than Pygments, but similar to both.
I'd like to transfer of my Nord styling package to the arcticicestudio organisation. The support is as extensive as the GeSHi syntax grammars will allow - some grammars have keywords and functions bunched together and need separation upstream.
Example
CSS
Java
XML

That's a detailed and well documented port, looks like you've already invested a lot of time into it. This is more than just a “rough blueprint“ for an official port and I would be happy to add it to the list of official ports, but it will be a while before I can actually start to work on new ports again. There are 50+ other port requests in the backlog and there are still many other important tasks that need to be done to help to reduce the current maintenance overhead.
Anyway, since your port is almost ready and could be used right away it shouldn't take too long to migrate it. Only needs the integration into Nords website and documentations as well as requires me to familiarize myself a bit with GeSHi to provide support for problems.
I'm still writing on a large post about the current state as well as the future plans & roadmap of Nord in order to clarify often upcoming questions and make sure everyone understands why Nord is currently not being extended and developed as fast as it used to be. This will maybe also contain some thought about setting up a polling and feedback system like Fider to allow users to vote for most popular ports, but my hope is that the GitHub Discussions is available as open beta like already for some hand-picked projects.
I'll also like to use this post to inform about required tasks and steps for new ports that are not always visible for users as well as the way how community created ports will be migrated to the official ports (i.e. handling granting/managing permissions for original author(s), unifying docs/tools with other ports etc.)
