For an open source app project without any commercial objective I want to use npcap, needed by a library in my code.
If I understand well I MUST force my users to go through the whole install setup by theirself.
I wan't to provide the most experience friendly to my users without spending 25k$ on a license for a project that calls itself "open source" but is behind a paywall.
Should I find a trick to deliver my app with yours as well ? Should I use an older version that still support silent install but may expose people to security issues ?
I really don't understand why such a project can be destroyed like this..
