Some locales have matching Translation Guidelines such as German :

http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/User:Lukas_Skywalker/Translation_Guidelines_%28German%29

Where should we copy them ? On the wiki ? On the forum ? On Babelzilla ? (could be useful for others projects)

Babelzilla has most of these guidelines already, and the page you linked to contains a link to it :)

I'm for adding them as links (where available) or text to the locale's team discussion as now for de: http://forum.getnightingale.com/thread-541-post-2400.html

So I have created a wiki article based on the Songbird one: http://wiki.getnightingale.com/doku.php?id=l10n:guidelines
I will put specific locale guidelines on wiki and they can be discussed on the forum, is it ok ?

@GeekShadow, I'd prefer to keep the locale-specific part in the locale-specific forum thread. All global rules (like do not translate &brandShortName; and stuff) should go into the wiki or some other global thing, though. Maybe locale-specific and/or locale-unspecific forum threads can put a link to that ressource in the first posts or something.

I've looked through our backup of the bs wiki and could only find dutch translation guidelines in addition to the german ones.
I've also added a link to our guidelines in each topic.
