Issue

I'm a gentledev i:

  • fully read the README recently
  • searched for existing issues
  • checked i'm up to date with the latest version of the project

Feature request

Feature description

First of all thank you for this very cool lib.

When the font.svg is generated we have ligature as html unicode : for a glyph add we have unicode="add". It could be interesting to have unicode="add". I know for html page it's the same, but for other tools (photoshop...) it's not work. And I know this tools don't understand svg font...

Use cases

But I use icon-font-generator which use webfonts-generator which finally use this repo. And ligature are not understand by tools for woff and woff2...

I'm sorry to open this issue which has no sense on this repo. But I think it can help other dev which want to do the same has me.

  • I will/have implement the feature

An implementaiton is already available on my repo : https://github.com/manland/svgicons2svgfont/tree/newLiga but... for version 5.0.2 (the version used by webfonts-generator)... again i'm sorry for that.

I'm totally ok if you just close this issue ;)
