I intend to use Mopidy as part of a multi-room audio setup with Snapcast, so that my partner and I can be listening to the same music in different rooms at the same time. This system would be in use at various times of the day, sometimes where both of us are present and sometimes where only one of us is present.
Ideally, we'd be able to submit scrobbles to both of our accounts as necessary, and be able to easily toggle who is listening at any given time.
I'm aware that this sort of setup isn't currently supported, and would be happy to implement such a thing myself. What I'm unsure of is how to create a system that allows dynamic toggling of who is listening at any given time. Would this be possible through Mopidy's plugin infrastructure, or would I need to look into something more advanced? Would a "who is currently listening" concept be better baked into the core of Mopidy to facilitate similar mechanisms in all plugins where it makes sense to do so?
